Dr. Ratnesh Kumar

Ratnesh Kumar is a research and project management professional specializing in infrastructure risks, resilience, and contract management. He has a track of designing global initiatives such as Fellowship, Knowledge portal, case study research, Innovation Challenges. He brings experience across international, public, private, and academic organizations. Before joining National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and subsequently CDRI, he led the design of ‘Risk Management Framework’ and ‘Project Cashflow Analysis Model’ for a Navratna company under the Government of India. He has also been a project professional in the industrial projects of Larsen and Toubro.

He has contributed to top international journals in project management and presented his research at the University of Cambridge UK and the Arizona State University USA.

Dr Ratnesh holds a PhD and M Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi and B Tech (Hons) in Civil Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jamshedpur.
