Shailly Gupta

Shailly Gupta serves as Analyst – Partnerships at CDRI. She specializes in sustainable development, especially infrastructure development, poverty alleviation, education policy, skills development and gender equity. Previously at CDRI, she worked as Short-Term Consultant – Knowledge Initiatives, supporting the Fellowship Programme and DRI Connect. Shailly has also worked in policy research and project management roles at other international organizations including the International Labour Office in Geneva, UNESCO MGIEP, UNESCAP, and Brookings Institution India Center. Her experience spans Asia and the Pacific, Africa, Europe, Latin America and United States. Shailly has contributed many Technical Papers and published her maiden novel, “Just How, I Wonder?” in 2020 on the fictional account of a young woman facing challenges from global drivers of change including disasters. Shailly holds a Master of Public Administration in Science, Technology, and Infrastructure Policy from Cornell University and a Master of Education in International Education Policy from Harvard University.
