The Compendium of Good Practices on Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (DRI) is an initiative of the G20 Disaster Risk Reduction Working Group (DRRWG) to showcase innovative approaches towards disaster resilience of new and existing infrastructure, facilitate shared learning and peer-to-peer exchange. As a knowledge partner, Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI) has compiled these good practices through content contributions from G20 member countries, invited countries, and invited international organizations. This dynamic web-based repository supports the online submission of case studies that are reviewed and published as and when contributions are received. Launched during Indian Presidency, this compendium is expected to be continued in subsequent presidencies.
G20 member countries and international organizations, and invited countries and international organizations are invited to contribute case studies of initiatives that have positively impacted the most vulnerable by reducing disaster risks, improving the quality of lives and livelihoods, enabling faster recovery and reconstruction, and providing environmental and social co-benefits. The contributions may demonstrate good practices related to governance, planning and implementation, data, and finance to enhance infrastructure resilience to disaster risks.
